Health Expo Announces Key Workshops, Alternative Medicine Panels and Wellness and Fitness Tracks

WALTHAM, MA—Mega Health Expo 2016 announced key workshops alternative medicine panels and wellness and fitness tracks. The Fourth Annual Mega Health Expo, which is catered to Indian and South Asian population in New England and is organized by INE MultiMedia, will be held on Sunday, April 3, at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.

Anu Chitrapu, who leads the workshops and alternative medicine track at the Health Expo, said that at this time over a dozen panels and workshops have been confirmed.

“The overwhelming popularity of last years workshops is the main reason we decided to bring back the workshop track this year,” Chitrapu said.  “This track offers interactive workshops where the audience learns and practices as they learn.  This year we are adding some fun workshops but you have to attend to see and experience what they are!”

In addition to above workshops and panels, there will also be workshops on music, dance and art as therapy as well as dance as a fitness tool and hot to track weight and sugar etc.

The day-long Health Expo, which was attended by approximately 2,500 people last year, is free to all attendees. It is organized by INE MultiMedia, a non-profit company devoted to education, empowerment, enrichment and entertainment, in collaboration with INDIA New England News.

One of the new panels that has been added this year in the modern medicine track is on gastrointestinal diseases. Some of the speakers for this panel are: Dr. Naveen Pandaraboyina, a board certified gastroenterologist and an attending physician in gastroenterology and hepatology at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, MA, and Dr. Vijay Yajnik, MD, an attending physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Digestive Healthcare Center and Mass General’s Crohn’s and Colitis Center.
