CHELMSFORD, MA—Meet Santhana Krishnan, an entrepreneur CEO, angel investor, corporate executive and philanthropist with a passion for art and providing a platform for artists. His dream came true with his founding of Asian Art Gallery currently hosting its 9th art exhibition.

This is the first interview in the Dreamcatchers series. It was conceptualized and is hosted by Dr. Manju Sheth, president of INE MultiMedia Inc., a non-profit company devoted to education, empowerment, enrichment and entertainment. Krishnan is a high-tech entrepreneur, philanthropist and an art aficionado. In addition to a successful entrepreneurial career, Krishnan had a dream of bringing together both Asian artists and art enthusiasts alike under one roof. In 2013, he founded the Asian Art Gallery in Chelmsford, MA. The Gallery features both modern and contemporary Asian artists while also enhancing the public’s overall knowledge of Asian art.

Raised in numerous countries across South East Asia, Krishnan says that despite well-known ancient art, the region’s emerging art market is still in its infancy — with curators only just now beginning to explore talent in countries such as India, Myanmar, and Vietnam, among others.

The advisory board behind the Asian Art Gallery comprises of internationally acclaimed artists, eminent art scholars, art enthusiasts and several supporting social and commercial enterprises. Serving as an artist friendly talent manager, Asian Art Gallery is in the pursuit to identify, narrate and celebrate the stories of Asia through art, to a wider global audience.
