“Yoga has become Mainstream and Main Street in the USA and continues to gain clinical evidence as an effective integrative medicine tool. It’s not just a fitness routine. Therapeutic Yoga can be a powerful tool for DePrescription and reversing the growing trend of polypharmacy” said Mr. Gupta. “We continue to see positive health outcomes through RxRelax’ Therapeutic Yoga training for Health Professionals and our Adaptive Yoga Fellowship. Whether it’s for healthcare workers’ burnout or enhancing health and mobility for older adults, we are grateful to see our students teach in the USA, Canada and Cuba.
RxRelax Therapeutic Yoga ensures that this ancient practice is accessible to everybody, including people with chronic health conditions and mobility challenges. If you have not been able to practice yoga because of physical limitations, you owe this session to yourself. This practice is very easy to do, yet very powerful at subtle levels.
An experienced team of instructors will lead this yoga immersion. Vijaya Upadrashta, MD and Jay Gupta will start the program with Seated Therapeutic Yoga that will work as a tip-to-toes tune-up. This will be followed by a mat-based asan practice led by Pankaj Patel. Then Jay and Ram Yadati, MD will lead the group into the deeper dimensions of yoga with Pranayam, Pratyahar and Dharana. A special treat will be Dhyan practice led by Dev Lingadevaru from Brahma Kumaris.
