BURLINGTON, MA–Dr. Neela Gandhi, a well-known dentist, and her team will provide free dental and oral cancer screening at the mega Health, Fitness and Wellness Expo on Sunday at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.

“There are a lot of systemic problems in body that can cause health issues in the mouth and vice versa,” said Dr. Gandhi. “Your oral health is part your overall health and that is why such screening are important.”

Dr. Gandhi said that her team will provide screenings for oral cancer, cavities, teeth problems and other related issues between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

The 5th Annual Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo is on March 5th, 2017 from 10: 00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA. The event is free to all attendees but they must pre-register. Gandhi is also president of the United India Association of New England. She received her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Prior to that, she earned her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from University of Manchester, UK in 1994. Dr. Gandhi practiced as an associate in Nairobi, Kenya for several years and also worked as a clinical associate in the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

In addition to her clinical practice, she contributes a tremendous time to organized dentistry. Dr. Gandhi is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
