BURLINGTON, MA–Welcome to the fourth annual Health & Wellness Expo 2016. We are looking forward to meet and greet you on Sunday at the Expo, which has become the largest such event catered to the Indian and South Asian population in the United States.
With approximately 60 speakers, 30 exhibitors, three parallel tracks running simultaneously and hundreds of attendees, it is indeed going to be a mega event. The information below will help you plan your day at the Expo.
Date: Sunday, April 3, 2016.
Time: 10:00 am—5:00 pm
Venue: Burlington Marriott Hotel, One Burlington Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01803
Parking: Parking is free. During peak time, parking in the front may be full. However, the hotel has plenty of parking in the back.
Exhibitors: All exhibitors will be in the Grand Ball Room. The exhibition hall will open at 11:00 am.
Free Registration: There is no need to register for individual tracks and sessions. You can attend any session and go back and forth. Also, if you have not registered for the expo already, there will be walk-in registrations. The event is free to all attendees.
Free Health Screening: Indian Medical Association of New England will provide free health screenings and Ask-the-Doctor segment.
Food: Area’s two esteemed restaurants—Bollywood Grill and Gourmet India—will have their stall there. Food and tea will be available for purchase. Also, coffee, snacks, drink will be available in the hotel’s restaurant located near the lobby of the hotel.
Which session to attend?
Please note that Tracks A, B and C will be running simultaneously. We will have the schedule, topics and names of speakers of each track at the registration desk as well as at the entrance of each room. The entire schedule of the Health Expo program is on India New England website and is also pasted below in the special Health Expo edition.
Track A: This track will focus on traditional medicine, such heart disease, diabetes, plastic surgery, knee and joint, women’s health etc. The medical entrepreneurial panel is also part of this track.
Track B: Track B will have the fun sessions such Yoga, meditation and Bollywood fitness.
Track C: Track C will focus on a mix of how to and panel discussions, including running marathons, spinal health, laughing your way to fitness, and weight loss, among other topics.
