Mass General Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Gleeson Rebello to talk about Injuries in Children

BURLINGTON, MA—Dr. Gleeson Rebello, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at MassGeneral Hospital  and a Harvard Medical School faculty member, is author of a children’s book DareBone’s Big Break, and will speak at the Mega Health Expo on Sunday, April 3, at Burlington Marriot in Burlington, MA.

He specializes in treating children and young adults with complex hip, foot and neuromuscular disorders and common disorders in pediatric orthopedics. He will give a talk on “Injuries in Children for Mummies.”

Dr. Rebello helps children navigate the potentially frightening experience of fixing a broken elbow and will talk about children and injured limbs of children. Dr. Rebello is dedicated to making everyday medical practice accessible to children in a fun and sophisticated manner through books and media.

At the Health Expo, he will talk about whether an injured limb and other orthopedic issues need immediate medical attention.

Dr. Rebello wll speak at 1:15 pm at the “Knee, Shoulder and Hand Disorders” panel. Other speaker in this panel  is: Dr. Chaitanya Mudgal, MD, a hand surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital.  He will talk about disorders and carpal tunnel syndrome.

This panel will be moderated by Dr. Dinesh Patel, Orthopedic Surgeon — Arthroscopic Surgery, Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
