BURLINGTON, MA—INE MultiMedia, the organizer of the 3rd Annual Indian and South Asian Mega Health & Wellness Expo on April 19, 2015, today announced that in a joint collaboration with TiE-Boston, the second largest TiE Chapter in the world, INE will hold a Medical Entrepreneurship panel at the Health Expo.
The Medical Entrepreneurship panel will start at 2:45 pm on April 19 at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington and will provide a great opportunity for individuals seeking their entrepreneurial dream in the medical technology and life sciences areas. The Health Expo, which is organized by INE MultiMedia and INDIA New England News, is free for all attendees of the expo

Key speakers at the medical entrepreneurial panel include Purnanand D. Sarma, President and CEO, Taris Biomedical; Veera Anantha, CEO, Constant Therapy Inc.; and Banu Prasad Dhanakoti, CEO, Fitrax;
Mr. Sarma serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at TARIS Biomedical. He has more than 15 years of pharmaceutical experience and has been involved in all aspects of the drug delivery business. Most recently, he held the position of General Manager and Vice President of Worldwide Drug Delivery Technologies of CIMA LABS, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cephalon, Inc (NASDAQ:CEPH). Prior to Cephalon, Dr. Sarma served as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development at Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NKTR) (formerly Inhale Therapeutic Systems), a leading drug delivery company based in San Carlos, CA. Prior to Nektar, he worked at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, where he focused in the areas of pharmaceutical technology, formulation sciences and product development. Dr. Sarma earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from Andhra University in Waltair, India.
Mr. Anantha is the founder and CEO of Constant Therapy Inc. He is a hands on leader with a passion to invent and bring successful technology products to market. He has built and led product-focused organizations at startups and large tech companies. He founded Constant Therapy in 2013 and is using the power of mobile technologies and big-data analytics to help people with brain injury improve their brain function. Previously, he served as Director of Enterprise Networking and Communications at Motorola Solutions and worked for many years with Motorola. He is graduate of Northeastern University.
Mr. Dhanakoti is co-founder and CEO of Fitrax. H leads overall strategy and business direction of the company with passion for building great products using technology. He was previously an executive with Nokia Inc., where he led and performed multiple functions (Strategy, Product Management) and new product initiatives. He has an MBA from Chicago Booth School of business and loves to read about macro economics, philosophy and cosmology in spare time.
