Health Expo Announces Line-Up of Moderators for Medical Panels

BURLINGTON, MA—Mega Health & Wellness Expo, which will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015, today announced the line of moderators for all the panels and workshops. The Expo is free for all attendees and will be held from 9:00 am to five 5:00 pm at Burlington Marriott Hotel. The names of over 35 exhibitors were also announced today.

The moderator-in-chief is Dr. Deepak Takhtani, MD.

Dr. Takhtani is Director of Neuroradiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at University of Massachusetts Medical School. His clinical interests include neuroradiology. He received his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India, and did his residency at the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Apurv Gupta:
Dr. Apurv Gupta is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Boston, MA. Dr. Gupta is in the Health Solutions practice in the Clinical Solutions segment. Dr. Gupta provides assessment and implementation services for healthcare organizations, with a particular emphasis on education and engagement of clinicians, physician leaders, and executive leadership to improve clinical practices in addressing quality, supply utilization, and cost issues, with a keen focus on delivering measurable results.

Dr. Manasa Patna, MD
Dr. Patna is a Ob/Gyn doctor at Cambridge Health Alliance, and a Clinical Instructor in OB/GYN and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. She attended Harvard Medical School and holds a Masters in Global and Community Health from Harvard School of Public Health. “I became an OB/GYN physician because I have a passion for women’s health — I am committed to improving women’s health both locally and abroad,” says Dr. Patna. “I have worked in India, Indonesia and Malawi to help women gain access to quality obstetric and gynecologic care.”

Dr. Lipi Roy:
Dr. Lipi Roy is a staff physician at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. She provides acute and chronic medical care to the homeless men and women of Boston. She is an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, and provides outpatient care at the MGH ‘Homeless Clinic’. Dr. Roy, supervises Internal Medicine interns and residents as well as medical students on the Bigelow inpatient teaching service. Work in interdisciplinary teams which include nurses, physical/occupational/speech therapists, surgeons, subspecialists, social workers and case managers.

Dr. Tapasya Srivastava, MD
Dr. Tapasya Srivastava is a physician at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She specializes in internal medicine.

Dr. Meena Sundaram, M.D
Dr. Sundaram is a cardiologist at West Suburban Cardiology in Needham, MA. She received her medical degree from Seth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India, and received her post graduate training in Cardiovascular Medicine at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA.

Dr. Seema Arora
Dr. Arora is president of Indian Medical Association of New England and has been practicing Internal Medicine in the North Shore area for past 16 years and is also certified and experienced in cosmetic medical, antiaging and weight reduction procedures and has served as the medical director of a chain of medical spas. Currently, she works for Bay State Medical Associates and Censeohealth.
