WALTHAM, MA—If you missed New England Choice Awards gala last month at Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA, here is brief glimpse into the life of Vasant Jinwala, who started first Indian grocery store in Boston and has been serving Shishu Bharati in various capacities for 40 Years.

Mr. Desai was honored with the Community Service of the Year Award at New England Choice Awards gala last month. The awards gala was attended by about 400 community leaders, businessmen, professionals, academics and philanthropists. It was organized by INE MultiMedia in collaboration with INDIA New England News.
